About last week...
Last week IMHA (International Maritime Health Association) organised a workshop to discuss Appendix E of the IMO/ILO Guidelines on the Medical Examination of Seafarers and the need for review of the medical guidelines. 17 participants from 11 countries met at the Maritime and Coastguard Agency in Southampton for three days of debate following the survey that was circulated over recent months. We look forward to sharing our work at ISMH17 in June.
